Injury Update: Saifiti ruled out with shoulder

Dolphins’ front rower Daniel Saifiti will miss a match or two with a shoulder injury he sustained scoring a try against the Raiders on Sunday.

However international hooker Jeremy Marshall-King, forward Felise Kaufusi and utility Kurt Donoghoe will be selected to play in the match against the Roosters on Friday.

“Marshall-King, Kaufusi and Donoghoe are all in line to play in Magic Round, and we will know more as we watch how Saifiti’s injury settles down over the next week,” said Dolphins’ Head of Performance Jeremy Hickmans.

Marshall-King returns from a nasty leg cut suffered against the Panthers nearly three weeks ago.

Kaufusi will be given a chance to prove he is recovered from a medial ligament injury suffered against the Storm two weeks ago, while Donoghoe picked up a low-grade calf strain at training last Saturday and missed the match against the Raiders.

Max Plath will not be selected today as he continues rehabbing a foot injury.
