Determined and eager to bounce back from last week’s narrow defeat, the squad travelled to Newcastle early this week to avoid further disruptions caused by tropical cyclone Alfred.

Nikorima will join the starting side at five-eighth, with Nicholls named to the bench, replacing Connelly Lemuelu, who is sidelined due to an eye socket fracture.

Oryn Keeley will start in the second row, replacing Kulikefu Finefeuiaki after HIA Protocols ruled him out of selection.

Keeley will line up against his former club, having debuted for the Knights in 2022.

After an impressive performance in his Dolphins debut last week, Danial Saifiti will also compete against his former club and face his identical twin brother, Jacob, for the first time in an NRL match.

Sean O’Sullivan will move from the starting side to 18th man.
