Dolphins sign England international Morgan Knowles

The Dolphins have announced the signing of England international forward Morgan Knowles on a two-year contract.

Knowles will link up with the Dolphins for the 2026 season after completing his commitments to Super League club St. Helens in 2025.

The move will reunite the 28-year-old with Dolphins Head Coach Kristian Woolf, who previously coached Knowles at St. Helens, winning three consecutive Super League grand finals together.

"Morgan is one of the hardest-working players I have had the privilege to deal with," said Woolf

He is an international forward with an elite skill level and importantly, he is a winner.

Kristian Woolf

"His four Super League titles and one Challenge Cup victory prove that he knows what it takes to win and is just the kind of player we want here at the Dolphins."

Born in Barrow-in-Furness, north-west England, Knowles joined the St. Helens scholarship program at 14 before progressing through their academy and signing his first professional contract with St. Helens at 15.

Debuting in 2015, Knowles has made over 200 appearances for the Saints, winning four Super League premierships and one Challenge Cup across the past ten seasons.

2025 marks Knowles’ testimonial season in the Super League, having been awarded the honour by the RFL to recognise his achievements and contributions to the league.

On the international stage, Knowles represented Wales four times before going on to represent England eight times.

Starring alongside future Dolphin’s teammate Herbie Farnworth in his most recent appearance for England, Knowles was impressive in his performances in England’s victorious two-test series over Samoa.

Knowles will join the Dolphins when pre-season training for the 2026 season begins in November.
