Dolphins Team List: Pre-Season Challenge v Cowboys

The Dolphins will kick off the 2025 Pre-Season Challenge this Friday with a mix of experience and emerging talent when they take on the Cowboys in Cairns.

The match marks the Dolphin's first hitout of the NRL pre-season Challenge as the squad prepares for their season opener against the Rabbitohs at a packed Suncorp Stadium.

Head Coach Kristian Woolf has named Sean O’Sullivan to captain the side from halfback alongside Jake Averillo, who will partner him in the halves as he looks to make an early impression in the number six jersey.

Kurt Donoghoe has been handed the fullback role, making his first appearance in the Dolphins' number one jersey. The versatile utility will be eager to showcase his skills in the spine as the coaching staff assess key combinations ahead of the regular season.

Two of the club’s new recruits will get their first opportunity in Dolphins colours, with Max Feagai named at centre and Junior Tupou lining up on the wing.

Meanwhile, young forwards Harrison Graham, James Walsh, and Mason Teague have been named to round out the starting lineup, giving them a valuable opportunity to stake their claim for a place in the NRL squad.

The extended squad features a mix of Dolphins development and Train and Trial players, providing a platform for rising stars to test themselves against NRL opposition.
