Fijian international Kurt Donoghoe has inked a one-year contract extension with the Dolphins that will see him remain with the club until at least the 2025 season.
The passionate half, who debuted in the Dolphin's first-ever NRL game, joined the Dolphins on a train-and-trial contract at the start of the 2023 season, having gone on to make 16 NRL appearances across two seasons and 5 international appearances for Fiji.
Dolphin’s Head of Academy and Fijian Assistant coach Matt Hartigan said that Donoghoe’s work ethic and creativity make him the type of player other players want to play alongside.
“When he plays direct, and he gets the ball in his hands, he’s got the creativity to make the guys around him look good”
Donoghoe has built a reputation as a utility who can play across the halves, back line and at hooker, providing the team flexibility and continued depth in season 2025.
