Injury Update: Aitken to miss rest of season

Dolphins' second rower Euan Aitken has had successful surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle.

Aitken tore the muscle in the Dolphins 36-28 win over the Rabbitohs at Kayo Stadium last week.

While the surgery went as planned, Aitken is unlikely to play again this year.
"Losing Euan is a blow because he has had a great season" said Dolphins' Head of Performance Jeremy Hickmans.

"The surgery went very well and it generally has a recovery time of three to four months.

"With that timeframe it seems unlikely that Euan will play for the Dolphins again this year."

Queensland Origin reps Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Felise Kaufusi will train with the Dolphins on Saturday with the aim of backing up for Sunday's match against the Panthers in Sydney.
