Dolphins head coach, Wayne Bennett, has named Max Plath to start at Hooker in this Thursday’s sold-out thriller against the Rabbitohs at Kayo Stadium.

With Jeremy Marshall-King sidelined due to a foot injury, Bennett has reshuffled his forward pack, which will see Plath switch from lock and step into the dummy-half role.

Kenny Bromwich, making his 250th NRL appearance, has been named at lock, while Tevita Pangai Junior will make his first start for the Dolphins in the front row.

After clearing concussion protocols, Jack Bostock will return to the wing, looking to add to his tally of 11 tries for the season.

Ray Stone and Sean O’Sullivan will also return to the side, having been named on the bench.

The Dolphins will once again be without Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Felise Kaufusi as they prepare for State of Origin game three.
