Four Dolphins named to Queensland U18s side

Four Dolphins NRL academy members have been named to represent Queensland at the Under 18s Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League championship, which starts this week in Coffs Harbour.

Charlie Dickson (Wavell SHS), Jac Finigan (Palm Beach Currumbin), Zac Garton (Caloundra SHS), and Elijah McKay (The Cathedral College) have all been selected for the Queensland Representative School Sport side, which will play its first match this Sunday against the New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges.

This competition has a rich history of nurturing young rugby league talent, providing them with a platform to showcase their skills.

It is also a stepping stone that could lead to selection in the Australian Under 18 Schoolboys Team, which has seen the likes of current Dolphins half-back Isaiya Katoa selected in 2022.
