At the Dolphins' Round 13 game at Kayo Stadium, a lucky fan took home a substantial prize of over $7,600, all thanks to Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) as the 50-50 Charity Raffle Partner.
Steve, the winner, graciously shared, "I am pumped and very happy. Thank you very much! It's a great charity… I have done well in the raffle, and (SLSQ) has raised money. We will split the money amongst the table we had tonight and share it amongst our friends here tonight."
Funds raised on the night have gone to support SLSQ's Little Lifesaver Program, which educates children on the important aspects of water safety.
Looking ahead to the Dolphins' upcoming Round 16 fixture against the Storm, Rosies will be the 50-50 charity raffle partner on the night.
Rosies dedicate themselves to offering friendship and unconditional acceptance to those who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or experiencing social isolation or loneliness.
Much like offering a cup of tea or coffee to a visiting friend, Rosies extends this hospitality to their friends on the street.
They play a crucial role in the community, welcoming individuals with open arms and friendly smiles, ensuring that no Queenslander feels left out or disconnected from their community.
As a Dolphins' charity partner, Rosies invited Dolphins' players Valynce Te Whare and Harrison Graham, along with commercial staff members, to attend one of their weekly outreaches.
During these outreaches, the players and staff assisted in serving drinks and engaged in meaningful conversations with those in attendance, fulfilling the Rosies mission of Providing friendship and unconditional acceptance to those doing it tough with a warm smile and a hot drink.
Be a part of this round's 50-50 charity raffle, with a guaranteed prize of $5,000. By supporting Rosies, you can directly contribute to making a positive difference in our community.
