Bostock extends with Dolphins

The Dolphins have secured another young gun with Jack Bostock signing a lengthy contract extension with the club.

Already inked in until the end of next year, Bostock has signed a new extension that includes both the 2026 and 2027 NRL seasons.

It means the exciting young outside back will be a Dolphin for at least another three years.

The 20-year-old has been a real find for the club, who plucked him from the Dragons’ junior system as a teenager.

He moved north to Queensland 18 months ago and underlined his talent by making his NRL debut just five games into the Dolphins’ inaugural 2023 season.

This year Bostock has cemented himself as an NRL player, featuring in all 13 matches for the team.

He leads the club’s try-scoring list in 2024 with 11 tries, now totalling 13 four-pointers in just 17 NRL appearances.

His try in the Dolphins’ win over the Sharks last week was perhaps his best, beating four Cronulla defenders to score.

Bostock too strong!

Dolphins’ chief executive Terry Reader said Bostock had a huge future in the game.

“It is easy to see why we were so keen to give Jack a chance in an NRL system and he has taken every opportunity presented to him,” said Reader.

“His improvement has been rapid, and he has demonstrated plenty of strike in the way and rate at which he scores tries.

“We are very pleased that Jack has signed on for at least another three seasons and can see him thrilling Dolphins’ home crowds for many years to come.”

Bostock said the move to Queensland had been a great learning experience for him.

“I am really thankful for the opportunity I have been given by the Dolphins and have been working hard to play my best football,” he said.

I am really enjoying the club, my teammates and living in the area.

“I know I still have a lot to learn but am committed to doing my very best for the Dolphins’ members and fans.”

Bostock will next line up on the wing this Friday against the Storm at Suncorp Stadium.
