Jesse Bromwich could be back for the Dolphins as soon as their next game after scans confirmed a rib cartilage injury.
Bromwich left the field against the Raiders after suffering the chest problem early in the 26-25 loss to the Raiders on Saturday night.
Scans have cleared him of any fractures, with pain management to be the ultimate decider on when he can play.
The Dolphins have the bye this week with their next match against the Sharks in Sydney on Thursday June 13.
"Jesse has a rib cartilage injury that we will be careful in managing over the bye," said Dolphins' Head of Performance Jeremy Hickmans.
"His return will be based on when the pain settles, which could hopefully be in the game after the bye as a best result."
Meanwhile, Kodi Nikorima is almost certainty to return against the Sharks after missing the Raiders game due to a calf injury.
The Dolphins have today accepted early guilty pleas for grade one charges out of the game on Anthony Milford and Kurt Donoghoe.
Both receive fines only and are eligible to play against the Sharks.
