The NRL's dedication to Indigenous youth empowerment will continue with this month’s 2024 NRL Indigenous Youth Summit.
Scheduled from May 20th to May 24th in Sydney, this event aims to blend cultural pride with educational aspirations, equipping young Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and Māori students with the tools for success.
Focused on education, training, and future employment, the summit hosts young leaders from across the NRL landscape, with workshops and activities seeking to nurture leadership skills.
Each NRL club nominates two males and two females, with Dolphins’ representatives Maxwell Harvey, Tatum Pratten-Eggins, Ava Imber, and Acacia Elers attending.
Representing themselves, their communities and schools, participants will converge in Sydney for a week-long program, culminating in the Bulldogs vs. Dragons NRL Indigenous Round match on May 23rd.
