Membership opens to the public as new faces join the Dolphins

Dolphins’ fans are getting ready to ride the wave in 2024 as the club welcomes its three new blue-chip players to the club.

2024 Season Membership has opened to the public for the first time on the same day that internationals Thomas Flegler and Herbie Farnworth and former Bulldog Jake Averillo have officially become Dolphins’ players.

Herbie’s heart set on bringing premiership home with Dolphins

The Dolphins produced a stunning entrance to the competition this year, with over 30,000 members joining to be part of the club’s inaugural season.

That number put the Dolphins in the top few clubs in the NRL in membership, while their crowd average of 32,500 at Suncorp Stadium drove them into the top two for crowd numbers across the entire competition.

Renewals have already been open to existing members, but from today members of the public can purchase eight-game packages for Suncorp Stadium and 11-game packages to include the three games at the Dolphins’ spiritual home of Kayo Stadium.

The Battle For Brisbane match against the Broncos back in March was the biggest premiership match of the year across the NRL, selling out with over 51,000 fans attending.

The three Kayo Stadium games were also guaranteed sell-outs and that is expected to be the same for the foreseeable future.

Dolphins’ chief executive Terry Reader said the addition of the three new players to an almost unchanged squad would only boost anticipation for the club’s members and fans.

There is no doubt that the recruitment of a new Kangaroo forward in Thomas Flegler, one of the best centres in the game in Herbie and speedster Jake has our fans excited

Terry Reader

“The Dolphins drove some amazing membership milestones and crowd numbers in 2023 and the club has responded to that demand by scheduling an extra match at Suncorp Stadium next year.

“Already 20 per cent of the renewals have upgraded their membership, either in terms of number of seats or number of games.

“Now the general public can buy memberships and be part of our drive towards the club’s first ever NRL finals appearance.

“The NRL draw is expected to be released in mid-November, which will then create another level of urgency for people to get seats at those sold-out games – but only Dolphins members can lock in those tickets now.”

Partial season membership packages and the Battle for Brisbane membership will be released closer to the season kick-off.
