Dolphins cavalry arrives in time for Cowboys

The cavalry has arrived for the Dolphins with a trio of representative players coming back for rugby league’s return to Suncorp Stadium on Friday.

The Dolphins will host the Cowboys in the first game back at the stadium since the close of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Queensland star Hamiso ‘The Hammer’ Tabuai-Fidow, Kiwi Test rep Kenny Bromwich and Samoan World Cup player Connelly Lemuelu are all back from concussion protocol.

In a further boost, The Hammer will move to his preferred position of fullback, with Bromwich and Lemuelu in the back row

Tesi Niu and Robert Jennings stay in the centres after strong showings in the last-minute one-point loss to the Tigers.

Kodi Nikorima has been named at five-eighth, with Isaiya Katoa on the extended bench.

Euan Aitken moves back to the interchange where he can provide cover for both centre and back row.

Friday’s match will kick off at 8pm.
