Bostock to debut as changes named for injury-hit Dolphins

The Dolphins will blood another debutant this weekend against the Dragons in Wollongong with young winger Jack Bostock to play his first game in the NRL.

Bostock will replace Tesi Niu on the wing after the Tongan international suffered damage to the media collateral ligament in his knee last week.

It will be a special night for the 19-year-old Bostock, who grew up in Shellharbour, just 20 minutes’ drive away from WIN Stadium.

He was signed by the Dolphins after being spotted played junior reps with the Dragons and for the NSW under-19 team.

The Dolphins will have a couple of welcome returnees on Saturday, with hooker Jeremy Marshall-King back from suspension.

Marshall-King was arguably the Dolphins’ best player in the opening two rounds of the year before a two-week ban.

Herman Ese’ese will also make his club debut for the Dolphins on Saturday.

The former Bronco, Knight and Titan has been named to start in the front row.

Ese’ese was actually chosen for the Dolphins’ historic debut earlier this month before suffering a minor tear in his bicep at training the week of the game.

As expected, Isaiya Katoa comes back into the team and will partner Anthony Milford in the halves.

Katoa missed last week’s loss to the Broncos with an elbow injury, but now replaces Sean O’Sullivan who ruptured his pectoral muscle in the game and is out for at least three months.
