Every part of Queensland will get a first-hand look at the Dolphins’ shiny new NRL team next year as the club plays trial matches all across the state.
In a three-match warm up for their debut in the NRL, the club will play matches in their traditional footprint areas of South-east and Central Queensland.
The Dolphins will also make a trek to North Queensland to play a trial game as they look towards their March 5 debut in the competition.

The Dolphins’ first trial against another NRL team will be against Queensland cousins the Cowboys at Cairns’ Barlow Park on Sunday February 12.
Dolphins v Titans
Moreton Daily Stadium Stadium, Redcliffe
Sunday 19 February
Kick-off 6.05pm AEST
The final dress rehearsal for their NRL opener against the Roosters will come on Sunday February 19 at the Dolphins’ spiritual home at Redcliffe.
That match will pit the Dolphins against another Queensland rival as the Titans make the trek up the M1.
The Dolphins are expected to play a full-strength side that night, exactly two weeks out from their historic debut at Suncorp Stadium against the Roosters.
“What a great way to start out history – by playing trial games in Central, South-east and North Queensland,” said Dolphins’ chief executive Terry Reader.
“It will give all of our fans across the state a chance to get to an early trial and see the Dolphins play in person.
“That final trial against the Titans at Redcliffe will also be a huge moment as we set for the historic opener against the Roosters on March 5.
“We couldn’t have asked for a more exciting way to start our history in the NRL.”
Ticketing details for each of the trials will be available early in 2023.
